About Us
It started with a dream, faith and a love for people
Dividing Ridge opened in 2015 as a campground for Appalachian Trail hikers. Every year, more than 3,000 people begin their hike in Georgia with the intent of making it to Maine. This long journey brings hikers through the Appalachian Mountains. Along their way, some stopped and camped at Dividing Ridge. We had the opportunity to host many people from all over the world. As improvements continued on the campground, we started hosting more events and wanted to share this special place with others. We transitioned the campground into a wedding venue but still host our annual event for hikers. Many who have finished the trail in years past, come and help us surprise hikers passing through with free camping, meals, hot showers, love and community. It is an amazing week of serving. We look forward to it every year. Now we are ready to help couples start their journey at our wedding venue.
